I have started a new crusade! My friend Janene started a group for couponers. She invited me to join, and I have been learning all about the art of couponing and saving and I have to say, it's addicting! I'm thinking that it's all in making lists of what you need, and when you need it, and learning the sales trends, and when to get things and when to wait. Luckily for me, my wonderful husband has been doing this already pretty much since we've been married, or at least since we've had kids! And now that I have finally seen the light, I have jumped on the bandwagon too! And my husband couldn't be happier! It's so nice to be a happy family! :D
So, today I was perusing Splitcoast and I found on the MFT thread, the Guest Designer challenge. Now, I've been participating in the sneak peeks for their upcoming release, but I lose track of when the guest designer challenges are and when things are due. Well, I found that the challenge deadline was tonight at 10pm. I wish that it would have been Pacific Time, but I still managed to get it in at 9:59pm EASTERN time! I would have liked to have sewn around the edges, and prettied it up a bit. But, after it drops into my purse, it becomes a warzone, and God help this little notebook cover! Esp. when my little ones get in my purse! Once they spy this, it suddenly will become theirs and disappear! Or worse, they will grab a crayon and write all over it! Oh the horrors!!!!! ;)
Anyway, on to the project!
The inside, so you can see that I really am going to use this! ;)

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute notebook Erin! I can never seem to get anything done that quickly as far as challenges go. It seems to take me ages to make a card or anything else! LOL
ReplyDeleteThat is really pretty, Erin!
