Here I will share the details of my own project that I created for the blog hop!

The theme is back to school and Fall!  Love it!  It's my favorite time of year!, so I was in my glory working on this!  I decided to do a journal page, but instead of using mediums, I wanted it to have more of a scrapbooking feel since we are hopping w/ PaperHaus!

The leaves were created by inking the back of my Patterned Leaves stencil on the veined leaf side, and then stamping it on a piece of paper.  Then, I took the same stencil, but the whole leaf side, and w/ different Distress Ink colors, created the fall leaves.

The spiral notebook paper was fussy cut and distressed to make it look like I tore it out of an actual notebook.

The stamp, Mia, was colored w/ Prismacolor pencils and turpentine.

I cut out little squares, and adhered them to a piece of cork paper, and cut out little red octagons (all paper) to make it look like a cork board.

Products used:
Simple Stories 24/7 (6"x6")
Mia stamp by Prima
Patterned Leaves (6"x6")
Wild Honey, Barn Door,Rusty Hinge Distress Inks

Hope you enjoyed!
Happy Fall!

  1. Why is it that when I try to create a layout like yours mine doesn't look anything as good as yours????? Seriously, I love it. I tend to shy away from NOT distressing torn paper edges but here they just "fit"...... love it.

  2. This is adorable!!! I love your coloring and the image is so cute!! Beautiful leaves.

  3. Erin, LOVE your Prima girl! LOVE all of the layers, too, and your leaves are GORGEOUS!

  4. Lovely page! like the way you've layered the different papers and your Autumn girl looks just right, gorgeous work x

  5. Love the layering and that Prima girl is so cute (I love them all) thank you for sharing your project with us :)

  6. Love this page!! I don't have any of the Prima girls yet, but your page makes me want to!! And I really like how you used the Simple Stories 24/7 - such fun paper!

  7. Woohoo Erin how pretty your lady looks and loving the way you put it all together!!
    Big hugs

  8. Those leaves are gorgeous! Great project!

  9. Erin, I love, love, love this page. The layers are wonderful but I especially like the way you have used the white space so beautifully to draw attention to the gorgeous girl. What a clever way to create those leaves, too. The way the inky spray in the background fades away from the cluster is so pretty. Well done!

  10. love the torn paper idea, and of course the doll.

Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by!
