I know Halloween is technically over, but..... I still wanted to share some pics of what I created for my cousins. I always like to bring them a treat, as we go over to one of their houses for trick or treating (after we trick or treat the night before in OUR town!) Two days of trick or treating, OH MY!!!!! Wait til THAT post! I'll put pics on THAT tomorrow! It will take my kids til Christmas to get through all the candy!
Anyway, so, my cousins have very nice homes, and I don't want to junk it up w/ silly stuff that I make, but these were just so cute, I just had to share with them!
I used Bling Bet for the letters and adhered little eyes in all the holes. The little witch is from MFT's Too Cute To Spook. The ghost is from Who's That Ghost Flopsey. And the pumpkin is from Trick or Treat w/ WTG. The added decorations are from a Martha grouping of ribbons. The paper is from SU!
This was the first project actually. I wanted to do something w/ acrylic as well as the new Mini Banner die and alphabet. This is NOT a good picture, but I was in a hurry to leave, so I just took the pics in the kitchen. The tree and fence are acrylic! The headstones are from the Ghoulish Label set. I die cut the grass using the MFT die, and I cut from Pear Pizzazz as well as black and I shadowed it to give a little depth. As for the banners, I used a smallish punch that worked PERFECTLY! It came from SU!, but I think it was in a mini catalog. Anyway, after I cut one out, I thought it would be cool to make them all eyeballs. So, I drew some red in each circle after I punched them out. I sponged some black around to make them look more 3-D.
A fun little trick w/ the banner! When you die cut it, take a look at the negative! If you cut out the negative, and place it behind the actual banner, it makes a PERFECT layer! Try it! You'll see! Jody Morrow (texasjodylynn) is doing a tutorial on it soon! So, stay tuned!
And that is it folks! I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween! Enjoy the sweets!
