A recipe box for the Kindergarten Center

Ok, so my son is in Kindergarten this year, and the PTO is having a silent auction fundraiser during the Open House.  Each classroom has a different theme, and I was so excited to find out that my son's class theme was kitchen!  Perfect!  I can donate a recipe box!  Works for me!  LOL!
So, for World Card Making Day yesterday, I worked on a recipe box!  I figured I could get it done quicker when I had a whole day instead of piece mealing it throughout this week.  Now, I just need to figure out if I should make recipe cards?  Someone give me an opinion because I just don't know what to do!

I used MFT's Banner Day Alpha. and the Banner die to create this banner!  Hmm, wonder how many times I can say BANNER in ONE sentence?!  ;D

I used Vintage Baby Girl background paper by K & Co.  The popcorn is from that stack as well.  The #1 Mom and vegetables are from the Crafty Secrets' Homemade Journal stack.  And I added a piece of cardstock and 3 buttons to make 3 peas in a pod in the right corner.

This is the inside look at one of the tabs.

And this is the top of the box.  I used the Crafty Secrets' Homemade Journal stack for the girls and refrigerator.  Crafty Secrets' Scraps for the little words, and the strips of paper are from the K & Co. Vintage Baby Girl stack.

Ok, I'm done for tonight!  I hope that this is well received at school and lots of people bid on it!  Cross your fingers!  Mine are!!!!!

  1. Aaackkk!!! This is so out of this world adorable!!! Dude, whoever you made this for will absolutely love it - and if they don't GIVE IT TO ME!! LOL Girl, you are so talented with these boxes. I hope you're making a mint by selling these babies. So glad to see you back crafting again . . . I've missed you! Smooches!!

  2. ANOTHER AMAZING recipe box! I love it!

  3. WOWZAWOWZAWOWZA, what a lucky Kindergarten Center, I love this. Erin you are super talented at creating these. I am thinking you should contact one of the local shoppes in your area and see if you can sell them to them and have them carried in the store. Did that make sense?

Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by!
